Acer Aspire Aspire Line Sees Updates Left

Hey guys, Acer’s got some laptops too. Their Aspire line of laptops saw updates, some with Intel’s Core 2011 CPUs and some with AMD’sFusion chip. First off we have the high-end Aspire AS8950. As per the rest of the show, it packs your choice of a 2011 Intel Core i5 or Core i7 chip. Also inside is up to 1.5 TB of storage, 8 GB of RAM (upgradable to 16 GB) and an ATI Radeon 6850 GPU with 2 GB of video memory. On the exterior, the 18.4-inch display has a 1080p resolution, LED backlighting and edge-to-edge glass covering with a an opening for the 1.3 megapixel webcam. You don’t have to waitfor months on end for this to come out, as it’ll be available for purchase on January 9 with a price tag of $1599.

 

Up next are the Aspire 5750, Aspire 5750G and Aspire 7750G with the first two sporting 15.6-inch displays, quad-core Core i7 chips, up to 6 GB of RAM, and 640 GB of hard drive space. The next generation of Nvidia graphics can be found on the 5750G in the form of the GT540M with automatic switching between discrete and integrated graphics depending on graphical needs. The 17.3-inch 7750G also packs a quad-core Core i7 CPU, your choice of ATI graphics (6550 or 6650), 8 GB of RAM and a 750 GB hard drive. The 5750 and 5750G will cost $899 at their release on January 9 and the 7750 will be $1029.
