Lenovo B, G, S, V Series Upchucked to Make 18

If the Y and Z Series weren’t enough, Lenovo increases it’s tally of IdeaPads to 18 with B, G, S, and V Series notebooks. The 13.3-inch V370, 14-inch V470 and 15.6-inch V570 continue on with the high-end feel of the Y and Z Series. The trio come with an aluminum casing, a 21 millimeter frame, RapidBoot for — er — rapid boot times, Intel’s new chips, up to 8 GB of RAM, Nvidia graphics, fingerprint reader, and HDMI-out.
And last, but certainly not least, is the S Series. Instead of Intel’s CPU offering, AMD’s new Fusion core does the processing — the dual-core 1.5 GHz E350, if you want specifics. The S205 sports an 11.6-inch display, up to a 750 GB of hard drive, and up to 8 GB of RAM. The smaller S100 brings a 10.6-inch screen to the table, but with a dual-core Intel Atop processor.
While the G Series machines don’t have a price sticker and release date at the moment, the S are due out in March starting at $329, the B in April for $499 and the V also in April but for $599.
